We are all familiar with magnets. We use them on a daily basis. We use them to post shopping lists to the fridge or close cupboard doors and bags. In HAUTAU's ATRIUM® HS inviso M, a magnet performs a key function and ensures enhanced aesthetics, living comfort and user convenience.
ATRIUM® HS inviso M excels due to discreet locking components, flush finishes and unobstructed passage with no intrusive fitting parts. This fully concealed locking mechanism with magnetic locking bolt extension ensures a clear passage without locking components getting in the way when lift and slide panels are open. Ultra-modern buildings with large French doors and wide access passages benefit from this new locking technology.
The sleek elegance of the frame section adds aesthetic appeal to the panel when it is open. The locking bolt is hidden at first, flush inside the door leaf. When the door is closed, the powerful magnet draws the bolt out of the frame section. Only then can the door be locked. This reliably prevents the system from being used incorrectly. The large opening in the frame section provides ample space for the locking bolt to enter and compensates for any variations within tolerances. When the panel is opened, a spring mechanism automatically pulls the bolt back into the leaf again, as if by an invisible hand.
ATRIUM® inviso M can be flexibly used with all frame materials and Scheme C and Scheme G sash arrangements and is also suitable for RC2 resistance class panels. No additional cutting work is required on the sash. ATRIUM® inviso M is profile-dependent. The frame part can be custom-equipped to ensure it is non-interchangeable.
ATRIUM® inviso M will be available from the 2. quarter of 2020.
