But what happens if the lift and slide window must stay closed? Ventilation may be not possible at times, whether it is due to occupants being absent, extreme outside temperatures, precipitation or noise pollution. In Bužanova, the self-regulating ventilation solution VENTRA® provides healthy air renewal twenty-four hours a day. A single device controls supply and exhaust air during this process. Thanks to its compact design and concealed installation, the VENTRA® does not detract from the window's overall appearance or the building's architecture and aesthetics. The window fan also blends into interiors since it is hidden in the side jamb section. The only components which remain visible are the elegant panel with control buttons and two ventilation grilles plus the LEDs which show the operational levels. This decentralised ventilation solution does not require any additional pipe systems and discreetly provides fresh air with compact, precise technology.
VENTRA® features an integrated humidity sensor, which detects needs precisely. When air humidity exceeds 40%, VENTRA® automatically increases the air renewal rate without any human intervention. It switches back to whisper-quiet mode once the optimum humidity level has been reached. The integrated heat exchanger also ensures an agreeable inlet air temperature. With a heat recovery rate of over 86%, savings are made on expensive energy. Uncontrolled, permanent or short, intense ventilation causes significant energy losses during the heating season. VENTRA® does not. Operated manually and intuitively, VENTRA® does not feature complicated user interfaces. The air volume flow can be regulated between four speeds with the fan easy and convenient to use for both young and old occupants. The window's burglary protection and water tightness are preserved. Interiors can be ventilated securely even when occupants are absent. The excellent acoustic properties are ideal for use in noise-sensitive areas, such as bedrooms, children's rooms, offices and conference rooms. Pollen doesn't stand a chance. The optional pollen filter makes the ventilation manager eminently suitable for people with allergies. It is incredibly easy to change the filter.
Breath of fresh air with smart home
In Bužanova, all prerequisites were met for integration into the higher-level KNX building management system. KNX is the world's leading standard for intelligent, needs-based control of HVAC products. The bus system features a flexible network of system installations which can be extended at any time. The HAUTAU interface module allows the VENTRA® ventilation solution to integrate with the cross-system KNX network. This means the device can not only be operated manually; automated ventilation is also possible using KNX sensors and the KNX building controller.
The flexible mediola® home control and automation system also interconnects numerous components by different manufacturers in a joint controller with a standardised user interface. The mediola® software controls, regulates and automates building services across brands via smartphones, tablets or PCs, transforming residential or office buildings into a centrally operated smart home or smart building. You can’t get much easier than this. The HAUTAU wireless LAN box can be operated with the cross-system app and provides connection with different HAUTAU window automation products.
