Frame	the outer frame of a window that is installed in the wall
Internal / external visible surface of the frame	the surfaces of the frame that are visible from the inside / outside following installation
Frame tolerance	Measure from the outer edge of the sash to the terminal edge of the frame following installation

Internal / external visible surface of the sash	the surfaces of the sash that are visible from the inside / outside
Sash tolerance	Measure from the outer edge of the sash to the glass strip
Rebate step height	Measure between the internal visible surface of the frame and the internal visible surface of the sash

Sash height	Height of the sash, in short, FH
Sash width	Width of the sash, in short, FB
Opening width	Distance between frame and sash at the main closing edge
Opening angle	Angle between frame and sash
Main closing edge	Sash edge that is opposite the hinge side
Secondary closing edge	Sash edge from the hinge side to the main closing edge
