ThermoTop® comfort is the ideal threshold for lift and slide panels made of PVC and timber. It excels thanks to an innovative material composition, which provides long-term material resistance and dimensional stability. Its easy-to-fit design saves time on installation. The threshold is suitable for all standard frame widths.
Living comfort and slip-proof design
The threshold enables lift and slide panels to provide extra opening convenience. A comfortable, anti-slip step guard ensures even greater safety. The door allows users to pass through easily without any hindrance. The step guard can be retrofitted or replaced at any time. Projection on the outside is minimal.
Optimum heat insulation
The exceptionally good UF value guarantees optimum heat insulation. Heating costs are thus permanently reduced, making savings on bills.
The HS ThermoTop® threshold
The HS ThermoTop® ensures optimum isothermal gradients not just on the sliding sash but also on the fixed part. Thermal bridges are prevented. Even if the outside temperature falls to -15 °C, the surface temperature on the threshold itself is still over 10 °C. It features optimum Uf values: 1.29 W/m2K (fixed sash) and 1.43 W/m2K (slide sash). That means no condensation build-up (with outdoor temperatures as low as -15 C°).
A modular design allows the HAUTAU ThermoTop® threshold to be very easily adjusted to greater installation depths, thus ensuring it is eminently suitable for optimally heat-insulated profile systems. This provides a perfect combination for reducing heating costs.
