The most important of these functions is thermal protection to keep out the cold in winter and the heat in summer. Triple glazing has thus become standard not only in passive houses to ensure that all energy-related requirements are met.
However, thicker glass also means greater weight. HAUTAU has further developed its lift and slide fitting to ensure that windows meet future requirements.

From 300 kg to 330 kg – force and function keep things in motion
The new ATRIUM HS 330 has moved to a higher weight class. It can now hold panels weighing 330 kg, 30 kg more than the ATRIUM HS 300. Although it supports an extra 30 kg, users won't notice the difference in weight when operating windows thanks to the modified slide mechanism kinematics.
The functional parameters have been optimised in the slide mechanism. The overall slide mechanism kinematics have also been improved, thus ensuring that force is transmitted from the gears to the slide mechanism more effectively. As a result, load from the sliding sash is evenly distributed when the panel is lifted. Suitable for all materials, this new lift and slide fitting can support sashes up to a width of 3,235 mm and a height of 3,300 mm.
The HAUTAU ATRIUM HS 330 unites function and supreme convenience, incorporating HAUTAU's new, future-oriented HS slide mechanism concept to optimum effect.
