First dealer in Germany to offer the fully electronic door locking system

INSTINCT by MACO at the Meesenburg Group

Schöllnach/Flensburg, 12. August 2024 - Pole position for the Meesenburg Group: As the first dealer in Germany, the competence partner for processing companies for windows and doors has now added INSTINCT by MACO to its range.

Meesenburg Managing Director Hans Bentheimer recently signed the partner agreement together with Frank Jedamski, Managing Director of MACO HAUTAU Germany, and Dieter Gerlach, Product Sales Manager of MACO HAUTAU Germany. The common goal is market development and customer acquisition.

"We are delighted to have the new INSTINCT locking system in our portfolio and to be able to offer it to our customers with immediate effect. We will be presenting the high-tech product on the market together with the MACO Group," says Hans Bentheimer.

Revolutionary technology - simple processing
The holistic system INSTINCT by MACO works without a mechanical cylinder and reduces the amount of milling required. Specially optimised to meet the needs of fabricators, the door solution also impresses with the fact that all components are offered from a single source.

INSTINCT comes with all the necessary system cables, cable transitions, gateways and power supply units. This means that all components can be combined as required using plug & play.

The innovative fitting mechanism is impressive. The lock with horse-head-shaped locking mechanism locks in the direction of door movement, provides extremely powerful contact pressure and opens and closes the door particularly quickly and quietly using a motor.

Maximum flexibility
The modular system and the various configuration options enable optimum customisation for every requirement. Installation and position can also be customised. There are virtually no limits to the height, width and shape of the door. Up to eight locking modules can be installed in one door. The shallow installation depth of the elements allows installation in both the door leaf and the door frame.

INSTINCT has no door handle, no profile cylinder and therefore no key. This opens up completely new possibilities for a modern front door design. The position of the components in the door leaf or door frame is freely selectable: vertical, horizontal or in hard-to-reach places - anything is possible. With three different housing shapes, INSTINCT is ideally matched to many profile systems. Two surface-mounted versions and another for flush installation are available.

Front doors with INSTINCT have a fascinating minimalist design and can be opened quickly and conveniently from the inside and outside in a wide variety of ways.

Operation made easy
The associated INSTINCT mobile app guarantees maximum ease of use. This makes it easy to control who has access and who does not. Access authorisations are defined individually for each person using the app, and one-time access can even be granted spontaneously while on the move. Access via other control systems, such as finger scans, is just as possible as connection to standard alarm and smart home systems.

In addition to a high level of mechanical security, features such as early intrusion detection via sensors and a seamless access log are impressive.
