The active safety device for slide and slide and lift systems slows the sash down, bringing it to a stop before it reaches the main closing edge. Users can freely select where the sash comes to a halt, no matter how much force they use to slide it. We recommend 500 mm between the frame and sash for anti-body trap protection, 200 mm for anti-head trap protection and about 50 mm for anti-finger trap protection. Users can move the window sash into its closed position in a controlled manner with no extra effort required.

The sash is gently decelerated at around 100 mm before it reaches the main closing edge and is then automatically pulled into the locked position. All it takes is one gentle push.
