The ATRIUM® HKS comfort provides fitters with an ingenious modular system for virtually any requirements thanks to optional components. Users themselves decide how much comfort they need. From spring 2019, the system can also be used with sashes weighing up to 200 kg. The typical tilt and slide function and the optional retrofit stop dampers are extremely user-friendly.
The closure control triggers simultaneous release of stays and slide mechanisms when closing the sash. Its tilt damping function brings the panel gently into its closed position, reducing wear. This lessens noise on closing, ensuring a quiet home environment. A hold in the tilt position prevents slamming caused by draughts or gusts of wind. The same operating sequence as with conventional tilt and turn windows makes this system foolproof and intuitive in its use.
The modular comfort solution allows two additional stop dampers to be installed if desired. This means the damping level can be adjusted at any time to meet individual requirements with regard to element size and weight.
Once the window panel is installed, the sash reinforcement components can be easily readjusted to ensure precise closure fit and a uniform contact surface.
