Visitor interest was enormous with the stand well attended at all times. That's how the four intense days in Nuremberg can be described. "The HAUTAU team was constantly talking to visitors all the time to ensure it attended to everyone," declares Frank Jedamski, Sales Director at HAUTAU GmbH, more than satisfied with the way the trade fair went. The endless highlights on the stand included, in particular, new products. Two such items, the new slide systems ATRIUM® HKS comfort and ATRIUM® MOVE, were presented to a wide professional audience for the first time and met with a great response.
New solutions
The ATRIUM® HKS comfort provides parallel sliding and sash tilting with buffered final positions. The closure control triggers simultaneous release of stays and slide mechanisms when closing the sash. Its tilt damping function also brings the panel quietly and gently into its closed position at the same time. Similar to turn-tilt windows, the intuitive operating sequence makes opening and closing extremely user-friendly. The integrated stop dampers minimise any noise when the window sash is closed.
The profile-dependent slide fitting ATRIUM® MOVE is synonymous with a tight seal, aesthetic design and easy operation. Up to eight special slotted components on the window sash long sides ensure the sash is pressed in and outwards at the same time. High contact pressure produces an extremely firm, airtight seal. When closed, the slide fitting provides reliable protection against noise, driving rain and high wind loads, especially in multi-storey buildings. Fully concealed, the ATRIUM® MOVE fitting mechanism blends harmoniously into the profile. The discreet, aesthetic appearance of the window sash remains intact. ATRIUM® MOVE's low space requirement means minimum profile face widths, thus giving more scope for ambitious window design.

And more
The new catalogue for the ATRIUM® lift and slide range appeared just in time for the trade fair. The window automation catalogue has also been redesigned and fully adapted to the new HAUTAU design in a new look. Both reference books contain products and useful information and present comprehensive hardware and window automation solutions, such as the ATRIUM® HS lift and slide fitting and its electric version, the ATRIUM® HS comfort drive.
The workbenches really drew the crowds on the exhibition stand, allowing visitors to interact with products. The hardware technology bench shows possible combinations for individual hardware components in lift and slide sashes. These products include a new addition: the ATRIUM® HS inviso magnetic locking bolt. This fully concealed locking mechanism with magnetic locking bolt extension ensures clear passage without locking components getting in the way when doors or windows are open.
The window automation bench exhibited the different possible combinations between drives and accessories. It also shows how to operate windows via a wireless network using the HAUTAU ConfigTool app in conjunction with Android or iOS end devices, such as tablets or smartphones. Product and assembly videos provided valuable information.
In Nuremberg, HAUTAU not only presented its product news to the sector but also its new brand strategy, which was well received by the visitors. We have undergone restructuring for the future in response to forthcoming challenges. "We will continue to expand our capacities as a slide specialist and position ourselves on the international market with automation solutions for windows," states Frank Jedamski. The new slogan "Opens new dimensions" makes this goal for the future more than clear. This called for celebration. The HAUTAU trade fair party offered a great space to end the first day of the trade fair in a stimulating atmosphere. And what could be more fitting than starting off the evening with the international hit “I like to move it” in reference to the ATRIUM® MOVE?
